Big Reveal Bathhouse @ Hedon House
A pop-up event at Hedon House, the Big Reveal Bathhouse is a bathing ritual with attendants Kat and Gala. Wash away the dull residue of perpetual hypervigilance, suspend your weary body ody ody in warmth, and get some practice being tended-to.
This event takes place on the unceded lands of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. We uphold our commitment to tread carefully upon this Country, always in acknowledgement of the ways migrant settlers continue to benefit from the atrocities committed here by the colonial project and always with respect for the sovereignty, resilience and resistance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.

BIG REVEAL BATH HOUSE
- A 4-hour blessing for your bod, led by your desires for yourself and your surrounds.
- Two bathing hours plus an optional two lounging/doting/experiencing hours.
- Attended by Kat and Dan, **space-holders extraordinaire**

OUR OFFERING
Come alone or with 1-2 pals. Enjoy a 2-ish hour soak in an aromatic bath with salt, oil, fresh herbs, or just your skinsuit. Peruse the menu of optional sensory experiences, including food and drink, embodiment experiences, herbal supplements, and more surprises to delight you on the day. Attendants will dote or disappear as you wish and are able and willing to provide photographic services for those requiring Content for the Gram.
Special guests occasionally join us with their own offerings – see the available dates below for more information about those options. Other offerings from your resident earth signs Kat from Big Reveal Tarot (Triple Taurus) and professional BDSM provider Gala Vanting (Capricorn / Virgo / Taurus) will appear on the menu on the day.
This is your ritual. Make of it what you like. Practice asking for what you want. Do only what pleases you.
All bodies are welcome, and this offering was dreamed into being specifically with our dear queer and trans family in mind.
In case of un-cooperative weather, we may offer you alternative options for enjoying a more indoor-oriented experience, or give you the opportunity to bathe at another time in more clement weather.
YOUR OFFERING
We operate on a sliding scale of payments in commitment to generosity, accessibility and queer abundance. You are invited to select a payment that is congruent with your financial position. Bathhouse entry is on a sliding scale from $40 – 150 per booking, and each booking can accommodate between 1 and 3 people. Please pay at the top of your ability so that this ritual can be sustainable for its holders. Payment is by card via our online booking system.
Add-on food and drink menu prices start at $4 per item and can be paid for in cash, card or EFT on the day. Experiences start at $10.

We are still in a pandemic. This is a space of mutual care. Let us know if you want us to mask up. We might ask you to mask up in some circumstances, especially if you think you’d like to partake in any add-on experiences that involve sharing space with another bod or bods. Bring yours along so that if it’s needed, you’ve got it. We’ll have some backup if you forget.
CANCELLATION:
Bathhouse spots are limited and thus highly coveted. While we can often fill your spot with a few days’ notice, we are unable to guarantee that we can do this for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the booking time. If you must cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, you are welcome to offer it to a friend or another bathing party, but if it is not able to be filled, we are unable to refund your entry fee.
ACCESS INFO:
If accessed through the rear gate, the space has no stairs and is wheelchair accessible. The baths are freestanding, not sunken into the ground, so they require a big step in and out, with which Attendants are happy to assist if required. The outhouse toilet is a standard cubicle size and does not accommodate a wheelchair or have grab rails. There is a second toilet that can accommodate a wheelchair in the house, but also has no grab rails. Accessing it has one small (5cm height) step up and one small step down. Please contact us if you have any further questions about accessibility or would like images of the space.

2. When you reach the payment options, the sliding scale entry point of $40 will already be selected. Use the text box below the heading ‘Pay What You Want Additional Amount’ to enter any additional funds you’d like to offer. This payment covers 2 hours of bathing time and a lil’ relax afterwards.
Add-ons can be purchased on the day by cash, EFT or the card used on your booking.
